Yay, you just booked your lash appointment with us, but are you stressing about what you need to do for your lash appointment with us? Don’t stress, there isn’t much to do to prepare! Just follow this guide to make your lash artist happy and make your lash appointments go as smooth as possible! If you want the quick run down, you can visit our appointment preparation page instead!
1. Fill out your client forms
If it is your first appointment with us, we require a consent form to be filled out before we can perform any services! We recommend filling out the client form before your appointment or you can come at least 5 minutes early to fill it out at the salon! This is to let the lash artist have as much time as possible to work on your lashes! If you put an email on file, we have sent it to your email. If you are having trouble finding it, you can always ask us to send it again!
2. Avoid ALL caffeine
To ensure that we don’t have to reschedule your appointment, you should avoid all caffeine, unless you know for certain it does not cause your eyelids to flutter. Some clients swear that caffeine does not affect them, but we have had to reschedule a few clients due to excess shaking of their eyelids. For that reason, we recommend to completely avoid it before your appointment!
3. Take off your contacts
Lash products can possibly react with your contact lenses and cause damage to your eyes. We cannot work on your lashes if you have your contact lenses in, so make sure you take them off before your appointment!
4. Wash your face and wash off all your make-up
Having any products on your face, especially eye and eyelash make-up can ruin the retention of your lashes. Make sure you come with a make-up free face so that your lashes last as long as possible!
5. Bring a warm blanket or jacket
Due to the curing temperature of lash adhesive, the salon can get pretty cold. We recommend bringing your own blanket or jacket. We also provide blankets for you to use as well!
