March 31, 2023

We compiled a list of things to do and what not to do as a perfect lash client! Follow these tips and your lashes will last longer and your lash appointments will be better for you and your lash artist.

DO - come with clean lashes.

DON’T - come come with dirty lashes, or make-up on.

For the best quality work from the lash technician, always come with clean lashes. If you want long-lasting beautiful lashes, never come with make-up on.

DO - silence your phone.

DON’T - answer your phone during your appointment.

We understand emergencies can happen, but please refrain from answering your phone from answering your phone. Movements, especially sudden ones, or talking on the phone can make it dangerous for you and extremely hard for the lash artist to work on your lashes. For your safety, and the best quality work, refrain from using your phone at all during your appointment.

DO - come with a reference photo

DON’T - expect the lash artist to read your mind

The more photos of your lash preferences, the easier it is for the lash artist to match your style and preference. Don’t expect her to know exactly what you want!

DO - go to the bathroom before your appointment

DON’T - try to go during your service

Of course we can’t fully control when we need to use the restroom, but try your best to avoid going to the restroom during your service. Lash appointments lasts about 2-3 hours for a full set so prepare accordingly! The lash technician needs to undo all the tape on your eyes so you’re able to open them to see, then retape them all afterwards. This cuts into your lash appointment time and you might not be able to get the full time of your appointment.

DO - avoid all caffeine

DON’T - drink a venti Starbucks coffee.

It might be tempting to get a large coffee before your appointment, but please refrain from drinking any caffeine before your appointment, especially if you know you get jittery. We may need to reschedule your appointment depending how much your eyelids are fluttering as it poses a risk to your eyes.
