With all the options for lash extensions, we don’t blame you for getting confused about what you want. We always recommend coming in for a free consultation with one of our lash artists, but here is an explanation of all the lash services and if they could be right for you as a starting point!
Classic Lash Set
Think similar to mascara. If you just want to have a clean, natural, beautiful mascara look without the hassle of putting it on everyday, then classic lashes are for you. They are only as full as your natural lashes, but they make your lashes look thicker, darker and longer.
This is truly the most natural set, so if that’s what you’re looking for, then this is the set for you. It might not be the best option for you if you have naturally very sparse natural lashes since it won’t give you a full coverage.
Angel Lash Set
The Angel Set also commonly called the Wet Lash Set uses the techniques of classic lash application with very light volume spikes. Volume spikes are multiple very thin lash extensions. This set gives you a dark lash line without adding any weight to your natural lashes while still looking super textured and full. This set is extremely versatile and would work on almost every type of client.
Hybrid Lash Set
The Hybrid Set also commonly referred to as the Mixed Set uses a combination of classic extensions and volume fans. Volume fans are multiple very thin lash extensions (usually 3-5) that are bloomed out on one edge (to look like a fan).
This set is the most versatile in terms of the fullness of your lashes. The lash artist can combine different proportions of classic and hybrid extensions to get you the exact fullness you want.
Volume Lash Set
Full and dramatic, the Volume Lash Set is the most iconic and most recognizable set. The lash artist uses all volume fans to make your lashes full.
This set is recommended for people with sparse lashes so that the lash extensions are able to cover up any gaps that you might have in your lash line.
Mega Lash Set
The Mega Lash Set is the most dramatic set you can get. Instead of using volume fans, the lash artist uses mega volume fans. Mega volume fans are multiple thin lash extensions (6-16 extensions).
This set is only recommended for experienced lash clients. We do not recommend getting mega for your first time, unless you’re absolutely sure you’re ready for a dramatic change.
The difference between a full set and a fill.
It is a common misconception to book for a “2-week fill” instead of a full set when you’re a first time client. Many client’s confuse the length of time to how long it will last. Instead the length of time refers to how long it has been since you have gotten a maintenance appointment or your first full set.
Wispy?
We noticed that many client’s ask, “How do I book a wispy set?” Wispy lash sets are just a style of lashes that have differing lash lengths throughout the lashes. Wispiness can be incorporated with any of the lash sets and for most salons do not have a separate lash set dedicated to wispy lash sets. For our salon, you can book for any of the different lash set and just consult with the lash artist and ask for a wispy set.
No matter what set you book for, one of our lash artists will consult you and make sure you get the lashes you were looking for. Book now or give us a call at 725-208-9600 for a consultation with one of our experts.
