June 30, 2023

Suspecting your salon isn’t taking care of your natural lashes or you just feel like they aren’t providing a quality service? Whatever you reason you are deciding to move to a different salon, you should be aware of possible foreign fill policies.

What are Foreign Fills?

Foreign fills are any fills coming from a lash artist that is not associated with the original salon. For most salons, foreign fills are subject to up charge up to a full set and removal which will be determined by the lash artist at the time of your appointment. At our salon, we schedule all foreign fills for 2 hours, but that might not be enough time for a full removal and full set so we cannot guarantee that we will be able to service your appointment since we might not have enough time to complete the service.

Why Are The Policies So Strict?

unhealthy lash clump from a different salon Many clients ask why we cannot just categorize it as a regular fill with our normal policies. The reason we classify it as a foreign fill rather than a regular fill is because we cannot ensure the quality of your lash extensions.

Unfortunately, the reality is that many other salons and lash artists do not quality control their services. We’ve seen too many fills come in that are damaging to the natural lashes. We refuse to work over lashes that are not healthy to your natural lashes. If you look at the photo, the previous lash artist (not at our salon) attached the lash extensions in clumps, which is extremely damaging to their lashes.

If the previous artist performed healthy work natural lashes and we are able to work over them, we can down charge you back to a normal fill price.

If you expect that your lash artist is damaging your natural lashes, come book an appointment and get a consultation and second opinion from one of our expert lash artists.
